My DVR is about to get a workout. Every Oscar season, Turner Classic Movies airs 31 straight days of movies which were nominated for or won an Academy Award. 31 days and nights of pure movie greatness. Academy Award season is my favorite time of year, and the 31 Days of Oscar are a big reason why.
You can see the full schedule of 31 Days of Oscar over on the TCM website. Each day features the films of a particular studio and the movies cover all decades, with films from the 1920′s through 1990. The festival of films runs from February 1-March 3.
While I won’t bombard you with every movie set to record on my DVR, I figured I’d share my top choice for each day. Get your DVRs fired up, the popcorn ready and enjoy 31 Days of Oscar!

Did any of your favorites make the list?

This is my favorite time of year, too! Every year we attend an Oscar Best Picture marathon at AMC. It is always such a fun day – long, but fun.
Definitely a great line-up. I LOVE Casablanca and so does my hubby!
I think I would be in front of the tv for hours. Awesome movies!
I love Turner Classic Movie channel. Thanks for the info so I can either watch or set my DVR. I love a lot of the movies listed, especially Casablanca and Fiddler on the Roof.
What a great list! I will have to check that out. I have yet to ever watch Casablanca. Can you believe it?
