The Disney “Vault” is opening again next week for Peter Pan, Wendy, the Lost Boys and all the gang to fly onto Diamond Edition Disney Blu-ray Combo Packs. Peter Pan: Diamond Edition hit shelves on Tuesday, February 5th. You know I’ll be at Target after school drop-off!

Peter Pan has, and always will be, one of my all-time favorite Disney films. I love that my kids love it, too. Although, they’re not quite sure about the classic version of Tinker Bell and her not-so-nice attitude towards Wendy.
This is one of my favorite scenes. Wendy is just so excited to meet Peter and just goes on and on and on, all while poor Tink is shoved in a drawer.
And, as if the news of Peter Pan weren’t enough, I just learned The Little Mermaid will be coming to Disney Blu-ray on October 1st! It’s crazy to think the first movie I distinctly remember seeing in theaters (probably because I was allowed to sit in a different row than my mom and eat as much popcorn as I wanted) is now being re-released on Blu-ray. Check out the trailer:
I am excited to replace two of our standard DVDs with the new Blu-Ray Combo Packs. It always leads me to this question, though: When you upgrade to Blu-Ray, what do you do with the DVD version? Keep it as a back-up, donate it, sell it? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Your favorite scene is my favorite too. Not because Wendy goes on and on (which is funny) but because it’s the first time I met Tinker Bell. I love her attitude.
The local children’s hospital is always asking for DVD donations. One mama friend of mine was just there with her 2 year old and was saying how great it is to be able to watch movies during their 3 week stay .
Oh, a children’s hospital is a great idea! If I can’t find one up here, I may have to send them down your way!
oh, i loved the little mermaid, brings back so many memories! I still have an Ariel lamp!
We are so excited about this! I have a feeling it is going to be my sons new favorite!
The little mermaid was the first movie I saw in the theater!! Those are two of my favorites!!
Two great classics I want to add to our family’s collection. I still remember when The Little Mermaid came out and how excited we all were.
So excited about Peter Pan! We don’t even have it on DVD at all, so we can’t wait!
I pre-ordered Peter Pan from Amazon a few months ago, and after a particularly horrendous day at work yesterday, I can’t tell you how exciting it was to have it waiting for me when I got home. One of my absolute favorites!
We love this movie! I already picked our new copy up.
